Tuck listens to you with an educated ear asking pertinent questions to gain a feel for what you want. From that initial consultation, rough design sketches are created. A communication exchange begins between the customer and Batch Building & Remodeling; the design is developed through this communication exchange.

Poor Quality Plans Affect a Project’s Success

Unfortunately plans that are of poor quality, not complete or inaccurate can cause significant problems in a project. The plans are used to communicate all the details of a project to you, the contractor, and any subcontractors working on your job. All the details must be included; nothing can be left for interpretation or assumed. If something is not included specifically in the plan, it will not be included in the finished product.

Architects

Batch Building & Remodeling is not a registered architect and, as such, cannot provide you with a final, detailed and “sealed” set of plans that may be required for your building permit. Batch Building does, however, work with a number of architects who will take into account the plans developed by Batch Building. The benefit of obtaining the initial conceptual plans from Batch Building is that you will have an estimate of the cost of the project based upon those conceptual plans prior to spending money for a final set of plans.

Architectural Involvement

If you already have an architect involved in your project, Tuck and his team work to ensure that your architectural plans are interpreted and followed.

If, during construction, there is a situation that impacts construction, with your permission, Tuck contacts your architect to discuss the situation. Plan changes may be suggested.
